Well I thought I would respond to my own question seeing that I now have first hand experience.

 

Is it roomy? ----- not too bad for a ship, there is a separate area for lectures, classes etc

Does it have free weights and machines? -----Treadmills, steppers and machines, all Cybex equipment, some free weights but not a huge selection or space to use them

Is there any Personal trainers available? ----- No, I think Princess could make some money by offering this service.

 

Does it have RPM or Spin classes? ----- They have yoga and spin at $11 per class.

 

What are the opening hours? From 8am until 10pm, personally I would prefer a 6am opening... all in all not too bad for a ship.... I hope this helps

Knew some daredevil would finally get around to checking it out. It looked nice & roomy walking past, but I could not find the entrance ;)

8am!! Well that is crap. I need to go first thing in the morning or I never get there. Celebrity's open at 7am and we thought that was too late to be done and breakfasted by getting off time.

The 8am thing is caused by too many complaints from the cabins below the gym......

 

Obviously they have been occupied by the "less energetic" passengers... (was that politically correct enough?? ........... )
