Sherry H Posted September 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2004 Can one call "room-to-room" on board the ship?
Brandis Posted September 24, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2004 Usually it works just typing in the room number... I often also call from a phone in a public area to the cabin, it works the same. "Public" phones can usually be found near the elevators and in bars (if necessary, ask the bartender, it shouldn't be a problem to use it...) mhshapiro Posted September 24, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 24, 2004 Yes. And, there was a voicemail system on Rotterdam VI if you wanted to leave a message for someone who is away from their cabin. I would imagine all the HAL ships have similar phone systems. However, using the phones for other calls is VERY expensive.
