Rare Terre Posted March 14, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2008 We are booked on the Liberty in May which leaves out of Miami. When we booked, the itinerary showed the ship sailed at 4:00 p.m. We all (our roll call) just discovered this week that the time has been changed to 7:00 p.m. DH and I booked a flight getting into Miami at 8:30 in the morning. Now we don't know what to do. If we rent a car for 4 or 5 hours what should we see, where should we go?
LADYBUG34113 Posted March 14, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2008 I would double check with Carnival and make sure it isn't a "typo". As far as what to do, I am not too familiar with Miami. Got robbed there once, and now I get off a bus onto the boat, off the boat, onto the bus to home.
Drew B Posted March 14, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 14, 2008 Just get on the ship as early as you can (probably around 11:30) and enjoy yourself. It doesn't matter whether the ship leaves at 4:00 or at 7:00... As soon as you're aboard, your cruise has begun...
Rare angelsfort Posted March 15, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2008 You could always go to the Miami Metro Zoo. It's awesome!

We can't get on the ship at 11:30, it won't be there...it's chartered and Carnival says they don't know what time it will be back. That was our plan, though, and the reason for booking such an early flight. We should be able to start boarding around 2:30 or 3:00 -- we hope! Our docs say boarding begins at 4:00, but we know we can board a little earlier. The zoo sounds like a good idea, we may check into that. Thanks for the tip.
