Transfers

Has anyone used the Grayline of Alaska motor coach transfer that you take on the train (Alaska Railroad)? I was told by hotel that they have the double decker cars on the train where you can sightsee as you make your way to Whittier from Anchorage. If so, cost? Time they leave and get to ship? Any comments appreciated.

Thanks,:)

Not sure what you are referring to, but it sounds like Grayline, is a booking agent with the Alaska RR??? If so, do yourself a favor and just go direct and book the rail through the Alaska RR website. Leaves Anchorage at 10am about 2 1/2 hours. Then consider a Prince William Sound boat tour, don't be in any rush to get on your ship.
