If you were "waitlisted" for traditional dining, is there some way of checking your current status?

If you're asking with regard to your February, 2009 sailing, I would say no. It's far too early. These assignments haven't been made yet.

I was waitlisted for my May cruise, and when I called right before my final payment was due, I was told I was confirmed for the dining I had requested (Main Upper)

 

My documents came the other day and it still says I have what I wanted.

Thanks for the responses. This is our first HAL cruise. On Princess, you can look up your dining status on the website and I was wondering if this was possible on the HAL website. I should have been more clear.

 

You will have to excuse me. I am an engineer and have been born with some psychotic need to know this stuff.

Even when it gets closer to sailing, after final payments are in, you won't be able to check this on the web site. The HAL site is just not set up that way.
