Below Pool Area or Kitchen?

If your choice was an inside cabin either below the pool area or below the buffet kitchen area which would you choose and why? Have you had any experience with these rooms?

We always book on the deck below the pool! No noise and it's so much easier to go 1 flight via stairs to get to the pool!

Below the pool; the kitchen can be really noisy while prepping or cleaning up, the pool is rather quiet at night. But there can be some daytime deck chair scraping noises.

We were below the pool deck once, and every morning we could hear the deck chairs being dragged across the deck.

 

On our last cruise, there was this lady who was complaining to the crew member in charge of the buffet that she could hear racket from the buffet kitchen in her cabin below.

If you're below the buffet kitchen, you're liable to have noise 24 hours a day. Happened to us once, but never again! :)

:) Thanks all for the input. I went ahead and changed DD and SIL's room to under the pool area instead of kitchen. I think they'll enjoy that area more. They will have to walk just a little further to reach our room at the aft but I'm sure they won't mind, especially if they want to join us at sailaways.
