• 6 months later...
Only been on 2 so far, but Navigator would be the vote for me. Probably because we always seem to favor the newer ships. Going on Mariner next month and that will probably be my new favorite (newer than navigator). We love the BIG ships in general. ;)

Explorer for me. I've been on both her and Mariner. I choose her over Mariner as the service was much better for us on Explorer than it was on Mariner. Also the art work on Mariner is very mis-matched in my opinion. The aft areas of the ship use a lot of earth tone relief type mosaics which are very soothing but the forward sections of the ship have some very modernistic, or catastrophic, pieces depending on your point of view which I feel have no place on a ship of Mariner's stature.

I have been on the Mariner and the Explorer, and I prefer the Mariner. I like the pool area better, and I thought the service was a little better too. Also, I thought the table layout in the windjammer was better. There seemed to be more tables for 2 or 4 people, and not just big tables for 5 by the windows. Maybe it is just my imagination. Last note, is that eventhough any balcony is nice, the Mariners are nicer.

I have been on the Adventure, Navigator, Explorer and Voyager, and I must admit I loved every one of them. But if I had to pick my favorite and I would say the Adventure because I love the southern caribbean islands! Now I have to add the Mariner to my list.
