dreamofcruising Posted April 12, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2008 Would you take cabin 9500, which is all the way forward or 9582, which is the last cabin offered on deck 9? Any major differences between the two? I think they are both obstructed, right? Anyone have pictures of these? Thanks!
cb at sea Posted April 12, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2008 I would take 9582, simply because it's closer to mid-ships than the other one! Much better ride! (Sovereign isn't the most "stable" ship!) They aren't obstructed, but on OV has a great view--very limited. The window is really only for light! veryhotred Posted April 12, 2008 #4 Share Posted April 12, 2008 We did an SOV deck 9 with an 'obstruction' really it isn't an obstruction..you just have to look over the lifeboats...was nothing really.
critterchick Posted April 12, 2008 #5 Share Posted April 12, 2008 9582 on Monarch (sister ship) is a great cabin - the window is in between the lifeboats, so you have a much better view than in many of the Deck 9 cabins. The cabin is also very conveniently located to the aft stairs, and the gym. Plus the stairs take you right to the entertainment venues. Plus, as CB said, it's closer to midships, and the movement on the stern is less than the moverment forward, anyway.
