I think Carnival should charge him the extra fuel required to bring the ship back in. That will teach him and others not to be late.

Sure hope this is not an incentive for future passengers on any ship to think they can get back a little late and have the captain to be so kind to just pull over and pick them up!.

I agree. I love sitting on my balcony as the ship is about to leave a port. Drinking a beer and watching that stuff is great entertainment.

We've seen harbor patrol boats bring people out to the ship twice, they had to jump into the door from the boat - yikes!

You definitely gotta give it up to the Captain for pulling the ship back to the dock for this poor slob. I hope the guy offered to shine his shoes or iron his uniform at least! :D

 

We had a balcony view on our last cruise of two Conquest passengers on the dock being led away in handcuffs in Montego Bay for allegedly trying to bring drugs through security on to the ship. Those guys make this guy look smart.
