Hi,

 

Has anyone stay in this room (category FF)? The deck plan has a black block in front of it. I wonder what's that black block? A pole? Can I get at least a partial view?

The balcony area in those two rooms is the where the support beam for the ship's bridge is attached to the side of the ship. I have heard both that all you can do is look out the sliding glass doors and that you can step out onto your 'balcony' but there is not room to sit down.

So you mean they actually have a sliding door? It's in the obstructed ocean view category.

Well, I have heard there is a slider/glass, and somehow they have to access that emergency spotlight on occasion--but it's not clear if it is usually accessible to the room pax or not. I suspect they generally keep the door locked, unless a crew member has to access that area.

Did you take the cruise? How was cabin C106? Does it have a balcony? Is it blocked? does it have only a picture window? What can of view does it have?

We are schedule for a cruise to Alaska and we are wondering how is the cabin
