I hear you. I just wished they didnt do it. Believe me, I will get over it. The good news is..... for those that do not want to pay the fee, there are other options (such as bringing cash etc).

 

With that said, I am sure the fee is here to stay, whether we like it or not.

Me: well, I always bring cash, but DH charges. I don't think he will go for the charges....I had better prepare him!

I was on the Galaxy on her 4/7/08 sailing, and I was not charged a fee in the casino (although this thread is making me wonder if I should triple check my list of onboard charges).

Hi Andy! I like your idea. In the perk-less world of X not charging Elite members this fee would be a nice gesture.

While I do not like RCCL overall (food, service, quality of drinks, etc) I must admit that I like the diamond perks. Ans so far they only charge if you use your credit card, not if you sign and use your sea pass (as of 4/12, 4/19 b2b).

How are you ? I hope you are having a great time on your Cruise. Thanks for your very nice comments (and to the others who appreciated my thoughts). I hope Celebrity will come up with some enhancements for Captains Club members.

 

I agree with you, that RCI's benefits are far better than Celebrity's. Perhaps one of these days Celebrity will enhance the Captains Club program, and add another level. It is long overdue. We will see what happens.
