Celebrity & RCI crown & anchor?

Recommended Posts

Sorry if this has been asked an answered already but I had trouble with the search function....I have 4 sailings on RCI, and I have a cruise booked with Celebrity. Will that count as my 5th cruise to get me to the next level with RCI C&A?

Thanks!

No, credits do not combine.

No, you will not add anything. BUT when you do get to 5 (platinum) on RCCL then you will get a reciprocal level on Celebrity. The are recognized by each other but you can't combine the numbers.

When you finally qualify for reciprocity, call the other line. They will not automatically grant you equivalent status, you have to ask them for it.

I haven't taken a cruise on RCCL since 2005. Today I got a letter to congratulate me on reaching platinum status. Can anyone explain? 3 cruises with RCCL and 4 with Celebrity.

It's a software glitch - but don't look a gift horse in the mouth. A friend who only has 3 cruise credits received a letter welcoming her to platinum a few months ago.

Were any of your 3 cruises on RC in a junior suite or higher? That would give you two credits per suite. Also I think an extra credit for 12 day or longer sailings.
