marinearchit Posted May 7, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2008 If you're camera sometimes captures wierd pictures, cool lighting effects, etc. and if that's happened when you took a picture of a ship, or the picture is just really unique, post it here. These pictures both came out like this because of the angle of the sun. Both were taken on very sunny days. Caribbean Princess from Princess Cays. Century's X on the funnel. photodoodle Posted May 8, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 8, 2008 I took these on the HAL Statendam on sail day at Canada Place, Vancouver, under very gloomy skies. The bell on the Statendam's bow: Sail Archtecture from the rail of the Statendam Dolphin's Eye View of Canada Place: Going through my shots, I am reminded how few shots I took of the ship... sigh... I probably took more shots of gulls that afternoon.

The Grumpus Posted May 15, 2008 #22 Share Posted May 15, 2008 Kinda unique. We had an at-sea rescue for a injured passenger and since we were not allow up front to watch the copter... they televised it on the CCTV. I happened to take a shot of the rescue on our cabin TV.
