rlr316 Posted May 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2008 Hi, I tried last night and this morning to book the Pinnacle Grill through online gifts for our upcoming cruise (May 25) and got a "No times and dates available for the Pinnacle Grill" message. Are they truly booked up for the entire cruise? If we try and book once we're aboard is the price higher than the online $20 price? Thanks. grannynurse Posted May 21, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2008 Sorry, but If you are within 10 days of sailing there is virtually nothing you can book or buy from at home, not excursions, liquor, or gifts etc. You'll have to wait until you board. Alaskabound77 Posted May 21, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2008 I don't think you can book PG in advance. And I thought it was $30 now.
Krazy Kruizers Posted May 21, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 21, 2008 If your cruise is more than 10 days away, then you can book the Pinnacle either by the gift form or by calling ship services. May 25 -- will have to wait until you are on board.
Krazy Kruizers Posted May 21, 2008 #5 Share Posted May 21, 2008 I don't think you can book PG in advance. And I thought it was $30 now. On May 2 HAL reduced the price of dinner in the Pinnacle to $20 and lunch to $10 per person.
cincytravelers Posted May 29, 2008 #6 Share Posted May 29, 2008 Is it still true that the PG is half price on the first night of the cruise? I would guess that you have to have a reservation made well in advance of the cruise, right? Would anyone happen to have the number to call to make a reservation for the PG? As stated, not half price. You don't need to call; you can make reservations on HAL's webpage.
sppunk Posted May 29, 2008 #10 Share Posted May 29, 2008 On our recent Westerdam cruise, at dinner, when we walked past, it was never close to being even 3/4 full each night except Thursday (it appeared well populated that night). That very well might just be because of the times we were passing, however, and not a real indication of interest. We tend to not eat at speciality restaurants on ships. cincytravelers Posted May 30, 2008 #11 Share Posted May 30, 2008 Thanks for the info. We haven't been on a cruise since Jan. '07. Shocking!
