Olympics

Recommended Posts

Nothing, really -- but after thinking about it. What if everyone onboard dressed in the color of their countries flag and we had a parade of nations? It would be neat to see how many countries are represented on the ship. And/or have a torch relay starting at one end of the ship and ending on the bridge with the captain. just a thought -- I'm excited about the games!

You may not even be able to see any of the olympics on tv. I wasn't able to see Big Brown win the derby when I was on the Mariner. Not even in any of the lounges.

We were on that sailing too! My husband was pretty bummed about that. The only sports we watched was soccer while hanging out at the sports bar (which was usually pretty empty). One evening there was a playoff NBA game and the bar was packed so we couldn't even get a seat!

So I also would not count on the Olympics being on. Hopefully they will find a way to get it though.
