Self tanner problem

Recommended Posts

I tan Ok in a tanning bed, but I'd like to give it up. So, a few years ago I tried some bottle self tanner and got a rash so bad, it felt like I fell into a big patch of poision ivy.

I got brave and tried Jergens Natural Glow with no ill effects for the two weeks, and after that I broke out in a rash. (Atleast it wasn't itchy.)

Do I just give it up, or is there something out there that I'm missing? Anyone have any suggestions as to what might work for me?

Is it just the tanners that give you a rash? No other lotions, creams?

If that's the case I'd suggest the ingredient that dyes the skin is the culprit.

Some meds can cause that reaction to the sun's UV rays but then they often do that with tanning beds as well.

Did you shave before using? Extra sensitive skin?

Sorry I can't be of more help.
