  1. Staying a few day on North Fort Lauderdale Beach Rd. and looked at Bokampers, Boathouse Riverside, and 15 St. Fisheries. Any other suggestions? Not looking for anything fancy for food and a good priced Happy Hour would be nice.
  2. So I looked up the closing times and not sure I will make the 10pm time frame. We land at 8:52 pm. Here's hoping. Question what is curbside order?
  3. We are a group of 8 landing at the FLL airport 9:30 pm & taking Ubers to 205 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd. by Sebastian Beach. We need to purchase some wine & possibly liquor is there anything within walking distance once we are at the Hotel? We are also taking in an airboat ride at Sawgrass 27 miles from the Hotel. Car rentals are out. Any suggestions on a ride there & back for 8 people? Ubers seem to max out at 7 people.
  4. Same here! Your doctor will give an emergency RX to any pharmacy to get you some before boarding.
  5. Thanks it is a balcony on a 14 day. I will take the time to visit the cruise desk & see what they can do.Can I only get one for myself, what about hubby? My son & daughter in law booked as well and have never been on a cruise before. If I have all their info could I get them one as well?
  6. Having never bought future cruise credits or deposits and having a deposit already on a 2026 cruise, is there any benefit to trying to get one while onboard the cruise I will be taking in 2025 to use on the 2026 cruise? Being from Canada & specifically British Columbia are there any other restrictions? What are the benefits? Thank You

  8. We did the New York to Quebec City cruise Sept 19-29 last year on the Caribbean Princess. Chose that one as we got St John for the Bay of Fundy, Halifax, Sydney Cape Breton, Charlottetown PEI, Quebec City, plus Boston, Newport & New York. It was an awesome cruise. The colours were not the main reason as I previously lived in Ontario & watched the maple sugar bushes turn, however even in Sept they were starting to turn by the end of the cruise down the St. Lawrence River. As cr8tiv1 said it does all depend on the weather. The cooler the weather with less sunlight and the leaves start turning. Enjoy which ever you choose.
  9. On the Canadian cruiser site it was stated that Princess no longer accepted AARP Princess gift cards. Were they mistaken?
  10. We cruise in Feb & I was so looking forward to Take 5. Disappointed.
  11. No we haven't yet. The cruise is Feb 2025 and our group has decided to do a tour instead.Sorry I can't be more help.
  12. I have never bought shore excursions so can't help son figure out if this Adventure Sale is something he would benefit from.Expires Sept. 22 FACTS: Deposit only paid so far OBC $400 Sail Date Jan 2026 Several excursion he is planning on buying. What can or should he do? Pay cash, use OBC's, what if he has to cancel cruise before final payment, will another deal likely come up before sailing? Appreciate any suggestions.
  13. According to the Main Dining Info thread on here, I believe it is Amalfi for anytime dining. That is what I have reserved for some nights with our group.
  14. Caught up and wondering about the port in Dominica. Does Princess dock at the Woodridge Pier or the Cruise Terminal in Roseau? Thanks
  15. Enjoyed the review and as always your perspective. Saw the monkey, thanks! Over the years has it ever been mentioned what you do for work? I've met many on line followers of yours by reading your posts. So I have found out what many of them do besides cruising. However, I do not recollect reading about your employment. Secret or sharing?
  16. Hey Greg, not seeing your daily beverage count? Is the monkey on this cruise? I have not cruised as often as you have but have been on Carnival, Celebrity, NCL, Princess and Royal Caribbean more than once per line. I would have to say Celebrity & Princess are my top 2 lines, with Carnival a real close 3rd. and NCL my last choice.Wondering about your preferences.
  17. The 9am -2 pm day cruise, 12 passenger, lunch, 2 stops, turtles & shipwreck.Pick up at pier for an extra $10 per person
  18. I emailed Silver Moon had a response in an hour! The only thing is the 20 minutes per site snorkeling. Seemed a little short but the reviews are good so I'm choosing it. Thanks
  19. Don't miss this opportunity to experience a luxurious 5-star catamaran cruise through the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean to two beaches of legendary beauty. After boarding, your captain will set sail for Turtle Bay and drop anchor in its sheltered waters. After safety training, you'll put on your supplied snorkel gear and slip into the warm, tropical waters for an amazing encounter with the sociable wild sea turtles that play and feed along the inshore reefs. Back on board, feast on a delicious buffet lunch as you make your way to your next stop, Paynes Beach, known locally as one of the best swimming spots on Barbados. Once you hit the beach, bask in the Caribbean sun, stroll the pristine white sand or snorkel along a majestic coral reef teeming with brilliantly colored tropical fish. Reboard the catamaran and relax and unwind on the return sail. I know the turtles are close to the shipwrecks, however I believe they do have to sail a few minutes to get to them. The shipwrecks are important to our group & I can't find any info on the Barbados Board. Does this excursion include the shipwrecks? Also does anyone know if Snorkel with Neville is still operating? Thank you

  21. OK I managed to back out & re enter by using my booking # not through my account #. So add my guests with their booking #'s in the dining section does nothing. Is this the only way to get a group table together?.
  22. Thanks I can do lots on my 2026 cruise as the web version takes me straight there. I can't access my 2025 cruise. Any thoughts on how to get there on the web version?
