Christmas Decorations

I am going on the westerdam on Dec 7..will the ship be decorated for Christmas at that time...its early but I sure hope so.

If HAL follows the example of Princess they will start decorating right after Thanksgiving so it should be well decorated by the time you embark.

I have been on Princess cruises hte last two years. Both times they were decorating. I assume HAL starts early too.

Our three recent cruises have been at Easter, and all three times on different lines there were decorations, so I'm guessing for Christmas they would really deck out the ships. Call the line you are cruis'n on and ask them. I have always taken a few deocrations for our cabin. The DS was 11 on our last cruise and (sohphisticated and "cool" as he thinks he is) he really appreciated the decorations and waking up to a big "Easter Bag" filled with candy, gift cards, and new t-shirt and bathing suit.:D So, did the DH for that matter.:eek:

As we were boarding the Westerdam 12/02/07, the decorations were being put up all over the ship. Everything seemed to be in place by sail away. Enjoy your cruise!
