Ship-- clean & easy to navigate

CD-- Mark Price Easily the best we've had GREAT HYPNOTIST.

Food-- DR and Lido & rm Service Average to just above average

Food-- Emerald Room Supper Club Fantastic. Carnival does this better

than Holland Celebrity Princess and RCCL COMBINED

DR Service-- Not good at all The only time I've ever wanted to reduce

the pre-paid Tips (did not do this though)

Lido Service-- Average to a little better than ave.

Bar Service-- Good to very good. Several recieved added tips to the reg

15%

Room Steward-- The worst without any doubt in 23 cruises.

Emerald Room Service. The best. Had dinner the next to last evening.

Decided to go again the last night.

Ports-- Cozumel Finally tired of this port, Twice was just too much,

Belize cancelled due to weather,

Roatan Very cool

Freeport. Spent 10 min off the ship.

Overall Impression- We had a great time. Would do this ship again. The

Problems we in countered we nothing that would ruin a cruise.

Any ????s I'd be happy to try and answer them.

We did the discover Roatan. It was very informative and well done. We did this from the ship. I think the only thing I would do different is to do the monkeys also. The ships video looked like they were having a lot fun. Freeport. There is not a lot to do on Freeport. The Last tour we did there they should us where the new McDonalds and KFC were. We are not really beach people, and some of the stores were closed because of a Holiday.

Cabin 1026 Panarama Deck Port side Forward.

We have this room booked for January. Can you describe it a bit more? Will it be comfortable for two adults and a small child? Was it quiet? Did you happen to try to get a wireless connection in it? Any pics? Thanks!

Do you have hair dryers in the room?

Yes. Its in the top drawer to the right of the desk stool. Very small probably would not be of much use if you had long thick hair. I don't have that problem.:D

Sorry no pics. Room was very quiet. I would think it would be comfortable for 2 A and 1 C. It is set up like most cabins: Closets are on the right when you walk in. Bathroom is on the left. Then as you continue into the room the desk TV and fridge are on the left. Opposite that are a chair and table (these will need to be removed) and the Sofa that turns into the 2nd bed. We had the beds configured into the King. and there is a very small (about 8" wide) nightstand on either side of the bed with a lamp on each one. There is about 20" between the end of the bed and the wall to get to the other side of the bed, and to get to the door to the balcony. There are 2 chairs and a small round table outside. There is no room for a lounger even without the chairs and table. Also the balcony is not open to the sky so tanning is not an option. Did not try wifi

Hope this helps,

Keith

Keith, thanks a bunch - that is very helpful. I guess we need to hope for a new cabin steward, but otherwise it all sounds good. I intend to be on the balcony a fair amount, but a chair (or standing) is fine. Thanks!

What was Roatan like - did you go on an excursion?

What about the Monkey's in Roatan - was that a different excursion?

Welcome back! Can you tell me if there is a "clothing optional" deck on the Glory?

thanks,

There is not a "clothing optional" deck on Glory. However, there is an adults only deck by the funnel. Go through the basketball court and there is a swing gate at stairs with a sign that is marked adults only. Very quiet area and only used sparingly. A couple times when DW and I were there there was several ladies topless, but not often.

Sorry you missed Belize. It was a great port.

For those with many questions on upcoming Glory cruises, if you haven't already found it, here's the "All Things Glory" thread.

Also recommend doing some reading on the Ports of Call boards. We really enjoyed all four ports and agonized of which tours to do and with whom. I enjoyed Freeport much more this time around.

Wondering what dining room/table and what was wrong with the service?

Also did you venture into the piano bar? If so who was there and was he any good?

Thanks,

We went on one time, tribute to Sinatra. Did not stay long as someone was smoking a cigar. Do not remember his name but as we walked by several times during the evenings he sounded pretty good.

We were at table 307 in the Platnum DR. this was an 8 top table. The waiter aways forgot to bring something for someone during each course. Seemed disorganized. Never remembered who drank tea or coffee etc. He was not that busy as two of his tables never showed up after the first night.

Thank you for the review. I do have a question. we just got off the Adventure of the Seas and loved the ship, esp. the Promenade area. I was told that the Glory also has something similar, i.e. an ara to stroll that resembles a street with shops, bars, etc. on either side. Is this tru? Tnak you. larry
