mashat Posted June 18, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2008 Did anybody book a thelassotherapy package for the whole cruise? Any advise for any of the SPA treatments? We are taking 12 day cruise on Insignia on September 1 2008 from Athens to Rome. We booked a private cabana for the whole cruise. Thanks to everybody who answers this post. StanandJim Posted June 19, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 19, 2008 Alla and Frank, We could tell you a very long story about trying to book Full Cruise Passes for the T pool (in our case, it was for a Baltic Itinerary). The upshot is that you can only buy such a pass IF they are being offered on your sailing. The Spa Manager decides on a cruise by cruise basis, dependant on volume. In any case, you may only buy those passes on the ship. FYI: If we knew then, what we know now (the tiny size of the pool, the restricted hours of operation, the obstructive attitude of the Spa personnel), we would have nixed the full cruise passes, anyway. We would suggest that you simply buy the odd day pass, to see if you enjoy it, first.

ChatKat in Ca. Posted June 19, 2008 #5 Share Posted June 19, 2008 We were on the Regatta and debarked yesterday. We did a spa treatment each and felt that while the services were acceptable they were not great. They are priced on the higher side for spa services and then Oceania added an 18% gratuity. For a one hour massage and seaweed wrap it was $350 with tip and my husband had a 1 hour massge for $150 plus tip. The spas are Mandara which is Steiner. We decided that we would not use the spa on a future cruise with Oceania.

(Right at the front of the ship). We also booked a cabana. I am still debating about the CABANA. DID YOU TAKE ANY PRIVATE TOURS?
