DH and I are expecting in December 2008. We have NCL Cruise Rewards to use and would like to take our trip in January 2010. We obviously won't know the DOB (and likely not the name) of our little one until December. Can we book out cruise, 2 adults and 1 child, with the child's name TBA? Any one ever run into this and how was it solved? TIA.

Most definitely. I've never done it for a cruise, but I've done it for airline tickets - just book under Baby Lastname. We never even called and changed the ticket, but you will have more than enough time to do that before your cruise.

We took a large group cruise over new years last year and we were unsure of the name of some of the passengers when booking and they booked it and john doe and then we later had to change the name/dob when we found out the correct names. Im sure they can do it.

Good luck, we are expecting #2 in December also. We have cruised 5 times with our DD since she was 7 months-old. Its a great way to travel with kids.

We did this with our younger son when we cruised two Januarys ago. We are cruising this upcoming January and are expecting in late November. We have the little guy in there as TBA but he still has a spot. We'll change it to a name before the final payment is due!

Isn't RCI's minimum age at time of boarding 6 months??????????
