angeljt Posted June 26, 2008 #176 Share Posted June 26, 2008 Radio, All of your pics have been great, but I love the early morning lighting in this last set. I sure wish the Majesty would come back to Boston. We loved that little ship and the convenience of being so close. I hope everyone living close to her dock now enjoys her as much. Have a great last day in Bermuda and some fun on your sea days. Jackie
Susie51 Posted June 26, 2008 #177 Share Posted June 26, 2008 I'm glad you have shared each day with us. Your camera skills continue to impress me. I didn't get any good pics of our room 903. If it works out for you, and the pax in the suite don't mind. Could you get a picture for me? I frequently stay in inside cabins and being in the suite was such a thrill for me. Thank you. franma Posted June 26, 2008 #179 Share Posted June 26, 2008 Radio...Just want to add my thank you for taking the time to post your report and especially the pictures, which are terrific. We have been to Bermuda several times and needless to say it is one of our favorite destinations. We will be going on our first NCL cruise in Oct. on the Majesty (to New England and Canada) and really liked seeing the pictures of the ship. Thanks again, and enjoy the rest of your trip! NextOne Posted June 26, 2008 #188 Share Posted June 26, 2008 Radio - thanks for the wonderful memories. We were on the May 24 cruise out of Charleston and had a marvelous time. Bermuda is our favorite destination and we're very fond of the Majesty. So much that we booked a return trip for next May out of B'more. If you get a chance, could you stop by the Polo Lounge and tell Elena and Mohamed that Edi & Ron are looking forward to continuing the martini tastings next year? They're a great pair and make mighty tasty drinks!:D Enjoy the rest of your cruise and I look forward to reading your full report when you get back home. Rare Radio Posted June 26, 2008 Author #195 Share Posted June 26, 2008 Hello everyone. . We left Bermuda at about 11:15 AM The pilot left the ship at about 1130. Captain Ronny Borg has announced that it should be smooth sailing back to Baltimore. Today’s weather is beautiful, as it has been all week. We sail away today with sunny skies, and warm temps (81f). The shops opened at 12:30PM, and the Casino opened at 2PM. The Casino will stay open until late tomorrow. Tonight there will be a repeat performance from Comedian Sam Griesbaum. The Production Show in the Palace Theatre will feature “On the Radio“. The evening will be finished off with the “Chocoholic Buffet” at 11:15PM Tomorrow will be the worst day of the cruise. . .the final day at sea. The activities will be plentiful though. I will report on the final day activities tomorrow. The wonderful Hotel Director (Derek Van der Nest) , was gracious enough to provide me with all of the New Menu’s (2.0 Freestyle) for Majesty. I will post these or provide a link to scanned copies when i return. . . I haven’t had a bad meal on board this ship. I have tried to dine in all of the restaurants. . I still have to try the Four Seasons, which I will do tomorrow. The meals have all been delicious. The cooks seems to have pride in what is being served, and how it is being presented. Le Bistro was excellent, but dinner in the Pasta Café and Seven Seas were very close to excellent ! I have been very pleased with the attention to service that I have received from the wait staff. Here are a few pics from sail away ! Thanks for tuning in. . . More pics tomorrow ! Radio Ordnance Island Pier area just before boarding, and sail away. Many passengers boarding just before the gangway gets pulled. Majesty Tender is getting ready to be attached to Majesty (after undergoing maintenance) The Pilot has left the ship ! So Long to Bermuda. . . . Until Next time Heading back to Baltimore. . . Should arrive by 7AM on Saturday .

High C's Posted June 27, 2008 #197 Share Posted June 27, 2008 Safe travels home, Radio. And a HUGE thank you for bringing such joy to those of us who were not along for the ride!!!! You obviously take great pleasure in posting from your cruises, and I want you to know that the effort is well worth it. I enjoy your reviews more than any I have ever read! JHJMAS Posted June 27, 2008 #198 Share Posted June 27, 2008 Hey Radio! We're on Majesty in ~40 hours! Woo-hoo! (We received a call this morning from NCL's "development" group and were given an upgrade to a Deck 9 "suite" for a pittance!) I'm still pining for a quick scouting of what Majesty has in their fitness room. Specifically, do they have elliptical glide machines? If not, I'll save the packing of my workout clothes and be sure to walk a lot more on Bermuda! :D I eat, therefore, I work out. Hope you enjoy your day at sea! Maybe I'll see you at the pier! Susie51 Posted June 27, 2008 #199 Share Posted June 27, 2008 Thank you Radio, for the link to your pics of the suite. Yes, I was my disabled uncle's companion for our Jan. 2008 W. Carib. cruise. Wow! Thirty-four times on RCL! What type of perks do you get? I have been on Song of America (7 days Mex. Riv.), Rhapsody (7 days Alaska), Grandeur (7 days E. Carib.), and Vision twice ( 7 days Alaska and 10 days full transit Panama Canal, San Juan to Acapulco.) When you get back, in your review and comparison, would you let us know if you have been on Song of America? I liked the aft lounge. I think it was called the South Pacific. My mom, sister, daughter, and I shared an inside room. On the Majesty Jan. cruise Mom and Sis shared a room that was even smaller than our Song of America room, but at least there were only two of them. Am I remembering correctly, over all I think Majesty is a bigger ship?
