We were in cabin 705 ( 2 weeks) last year and have it booked it again for Aug."08. This will be our 4th trip on the PG. We loved this cabin, very quiet. Rooms above us, but never heard anyone. Great being in the front of the ship.

We have also been in 726 ( 7days)and 724 (10 days) both were very nice, the only downside is that in the AM they hose down the pool deck above these cabins and the water drips down the side of the ship. However a towel run along the balcony railing takes care of the water . We love to have breakfast on our balcony.....But most of all we love the PG and the islands we visit.

AZ.cruiser (Patricia),

Thank you so much for your reply re cabins 705/707. This is our first cruise on the PG and to FP; we also like the front of the ship.

Do you book the ship's shore excursions or can you recommend private tour guides?

PG is scheduled to arrive at 7:30 p.m. on last day of cruise, but remains overnight, and guests disembark the following day. Do you know if it is possible to disembark the PG the evening of arrival? Would make it easier for us to book an 1:45 AM Air France flight to LAX.

Hi Carol,

WE have always booked excurisions through the ship. Actually you can book excursions on line before you cruise.

As for leaving the ship on Friday after arrival, you should call Regent or your travel agent. They will be able to give you the correct info.

You will love the ship/cruise/& crew, it's a wonderful cruise.

Everyone here at Cruise Critic will be able to give you lots of great information.

We are on PG 7-5-08 and have arranged to disembark as soon as it docks on the 15th of July --at 7:30 PM -- and will catch ATN flight 2 departing at 10 PM that same evening. For us it will avoid "hanging around" the next day until flight time --again 10 PM.
