Can anyone tell me what the laundry situation is on Legend does the ship

have washers and dryers or do you pay by the bag and the ship does the

laundry for you and if so what is the cost thanks

Just got off the Legend a few days ago, did the 12 day Eastern Med/Egypt which may be the same one you are going to do.

 

Twice they had a "stuff everything you can in the bag" for $20. This was good for underwear, socks, PJ's, shorts, T-shirts - nothing ironed from this bag. For slacks/jeans/dress shirts you had to do regular laundry service with them with a price per piece. It is similar to what any hotel would charge. I do not remember exact prices, but something like $3.50 for a pair of jeans.

 

There are no self laundry facilities.

 

BTW, we had a wonderful time. When you see Sandra (from Portugal) from the cruise director's staff, tell her Hector said HI! We had a blast.

The Legend does not have any laundry facilities available for passengers to use. When we sailed in 06 I don't believe they offered any laundry specials either. You could just send out whatever items you needed washed and they would do it for you, as I remember the prices were a little too much, especially for things like underwear. We had a JS, so we just washed certain things that wouldn't take long to dry, and we put them out on the balcony to dry! :D

If you do put something on your balcony--don't do it when the ship's underway--your things will blow off the ship!
