HI All,

Two muster calls to night .

I hope they find your bags. I look forward to reading your posts. My questions is why are there two musters? I have seen this written on another "Live" thread regarding a European Cruise. Enjoy your cruise. I am sitting at my desk and distracting my self by living vicariously through "live" threads.

Thanks

Tom

I too am curious about 2 musters on European sailings. 75 cents per minute yikes... most expensive "Live From" ever, thanks Shogun! Looking forward to hearing about these ports, love your description of sailing into Venice, hope to do it myself one day...

Hi all,

So very nice to see some old names from last time dropping in.

Two musters its simple main one is quite early so there is a latter one for flights that get in the evening as it is a 10.00pm sailing.

Now I no Carnival stock has been dropping but only a quarter roll of loo paper in the cabin, whats next numbered sheets, or may be a bar code charged to your room account for each sheet used. Or may be steward just forgot will wait and see.

Its all new faces on board only Martin the assistant CD and one person at the cafe, may will see more latter.

Marsielle today, very hot clear skies, two big ships in port today, down town very busy.

But as we have done a cruise or two before we headed straight to the spa pool this morning, got it all to ourselves, then on deck only 4 others, a small stack then the shuttle bus costs 5 dollars ech way charged direct to your room, again only a few of use on the bus, no waiting about, may one day the new cruisers will learn wait abn hour before trying to get off and you do not spend an hour in a que.

Off to book an open top bus tour of Rome so chat latter,

Shogun

PS Mrs Shogun not happy Denver Duck slot was no where to be seen, however casino bloke asked what was wrong and he took her straight to it, did not do any good she still lost.

LOL. Cute machine. Tell her to try Wheel of Fortune, but that one needs more than pennies. :D

Shogun it's good to read your live reports from Emerald. Marseilles was extremely windy when we were there last year and subsequently as we left the sea became very rough. Hope you don't experience the same. Have a good trip and enjoy Rome, it's a fantastic place, as I am sure you already know.

Shogun,

We are so pleased to hear that Martin is on board - we know him well from previous cruises. Please say hello to him from Daphne and Arthur (the Fulham supporter) and that we will be on board again in Venice. I have e-mailed him a couple of times, but I know that he is not the greatest at answering these!!!! We hope that he is staying on for the 23 July cruise and that we are really looking forward to seeing him.

We are really enjoying your updates as we have cruised many times with Princess and are joining Tina, Peter and their families on board this year.

Who is the Captain at the moment? Please enjoy that rest of your cruise and the sail into Venice. This is our second favourite port to either arrive or depart from - almost on a par with the sail into Sydney Harbour.

Hi folks,

The good news is Carnival Corp stock has not dropped to much and we have been given supplies, overall our room steward is one of that small bunch that not only does all that is expected but goes that little bitmore, the small things like lines up all your shoes in a straight line etc. May be just looking for a beter tip but with the level of servcive he is providing he will get one but please do not tell him that just now.

Still not eaten in the dinning room yet, might not for a few days more as there is plenty of good food about ate at the posh Horizon bit to night Cafe Carib, very nice relaxed feel to the place quite a few ships folk eating there so if its good enough for them must be OK for us.

One ig concern is Mrs Shogun has found the site and is reading the posts so will need to watch what I say.

No doubt Princess is reading as well, but so long as the ship meets Princess standards then there will be no bad reports.

However Princess links was bad in January it is now not acceptable needs a complete overall.

Movies under the stars a bit poor this cruise, but might just be my choice in films.

Tina and Elton are still getting played, Lady and the Tramp still on TV but have not seen any Shirk about.

Commodore gives daily up dates on what is going on ship wise but not seen him about ship yet.

Well thats all for now any questions folks just ask.

yours Shogun

Ok, it's Shogun with his bags in tow. I remember reading all of your posts before. We will be on Emerald again for the transatlantic. Are there new entertainers? Anything new to report? Have a wonderful time.

Hi Shogun,

Thanks for all your updates. If I remember correctly, I am sure that Lisa Ball was the CD on the Emerald last year. I know that we have sailed with her before. No doubt, Peter or Tina will be able to put me to rights over this.

Have your managed to speak with Martin the Asst. CD yet, re my message on previous page yesterday?.

Sounds like you are having a well earned rest before the intensity of the ports coming up. We love the seafood buffet and I assume that this was on the first night?

Who is the Captain at the moment?

Many thanks for all your news, it is making us look forward even more to our forthcoming cruise on the 23rd.

Smooth sailing and sunny skies.

It will be like being back o there last year when we get on next week.
