I know you asked about NCL but I remember sometime last year someone said they saw Howie Mandel and his family on Brillance of the Seas..I think it was a Panama Canal cruise. I thought he was obsessed with germs..I would think cruising would be the last thing he would want to do..

Has anybody been on an NCL Cruise lately with any movie stars or famous people --if so where when ?

It wasn't lately but, in 2005 we were on the NCL Sea (just before they sold it) with "Sunshine". That's the name she went by. She was Luke Perry's girlfriend on 90210. We didn't have a clue who she was since we never watched 90210. She was traveling with her mother and aunt. They had just returned from a Med cuise. She dove with us at several stops and asked us to have dinner with them. She was very down to earth, and extremely funny.

I saw Geraldo Rivera in the San Pedro terminal getting on RCCL Monarch. But he attended a wedding on board and did not sail.

Also, I know Regis Philbin has cruised Celebrity. He said so on his show.

I'm so lousy with names :( When we were on the Pride of Aloha my girlfriend pointed out a few movie people at the VIP party. Also Neil Sedaka was on the Star in the Garden Villa. Our cabin steward was pretty chatty and mentioned a few others that do the GV's but I'll be darn if I remember the names.

Well.. again, this is not NCL, but I have a friend who is a petty officer on the QM2 and he sailed once with Uma Thurman onboard in a suite that was like 1200.00 or 2400.00 a day (can't remember which, I was just impressed..lol). She was there with her children and her now ex-husband, Ethan Hawk. My friend said what was so amazing about her was how polite she was to EVERYONE, those that stopped her for autographs all the way to the room stewards. He also said she had the most well mannered children, always saying please and thank you.

We are all important people. Just look in the mirror. All they are is over paid.

I second that. Stuttering John? The waiters singing YMCA who can barely speak English have more talent than him.

On my very first NCL cruise Cindy Crawford was shooting a coke commercial by the pool when we boarded. The ships were small then so they let us get pretty close.

A chatty butler said Melissa Ethridge sailed on the Star and used both GV's

He went on to say that Reba and Donald Trump also sailed in GV's with him.

Rosie stayed in GV 14000 on the Dawn before we did. One of her Children broke the telescope. (They were not charged for it, bet I would have been).

One time on the Dawn Kim Cattrell (the godmother) was in the GV with her family celebrating her birthday. She frequented all the restaurants and there were frequent "spottings."

A couple of years ago several of us just happened to be on "Good Morning America's Girlfriends' Week" on the Jewel. Gayle King and Mike the weatherman were on all week with Diane Sawyer showing up midweek. They were all quite nice to everyone, posed endlessly for pictures, showed up in the restaurants, shows, etc. Some pax were up on the pool deck everyday @ 6am to participate in the show, done live from the ship.

Never snapped a picture of any of them!:)

We sailed with Reba a couple of years ago (I think it was on the Star...if my memory is working this morning). She had the Garden Villa for her and her family. She spent several nights in the casino and seemed to enjoy herself.
