Had to be in Costa Maya in 2004 on our inspiration cruise when we visited the schools with school supplies. The kids just ate us all up and we were able to play with them too! Very amazing experience for our then 10 yr old daugher (she's now 18!) Our daughter is in the back row next to the 2 teachers.

was Gold Rock Beach worth it? How hard was it to get to?

Gold rock was well worth it! We had the entire beach to ourselves for the day. The drive was about 30 minutes (as best I can remember) and we stopped at a grocery store for snacks and drinks. No bathrooms, but we did find a picnic table.

We had to walk along this for a ways once we got out of the van.

Sapphire Beach, St Thomas

Sapphire Beach has to be one of the most picturesque beaches in the Caribbean! As much hype as Megan's Bay gets, I found the view at Sapphire to be one of my favorites of all times! Thanks for bringing back memories.
