Islander, Tell me what you know about the duck tours?

We did the Duck tour in St. Thomas last Dec. and enjoyed it. It did rain but that made it fun.

Did you do it on your own or through the cruiseline? Also how far is it from where the cruise ships dock, can it be walked or do you need transportation to the duck tour place?

Jimbo:)

It would be a distance to walk a few blocks or so but doable. We did the ship's tour. It was to be an hour and 15 minutes but seemed to be a little longer. There was a shuttle ride of no more than five minutes to the dock, because we sailed first, then went on land and then back to the water. There is about a block walk from the street where you are let out to the pier where you catch the Duck tour.
