Voyager E1 Balcony Rooms

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have a recent good review of what they thought of the Voyager and what about the E1 class Balcony Rooms, are these nice, I saw aft mentioned..what does that make the room better or will I still be happy with my balcony room, and how do you bring the tiki torch onboard to use on the balcony? Some people mentioned they use these at times.

thanks

A better choice in my opinion would be to grab an E2 cabin on the bump. Great location and view. The tiki torches are just a little leg pulling going on.

I had an E2 (DB) on my last cruise on the VOS. Smaller cabin that I thought, compared to Carnival, but well worth it because I had a balcony. I have an E1 (DA) on my next cruise on the AOS... aft cabin this time. I think you would be happy in any of the E1's or E2's, all depends on if you like mid ship or not. I don't think you can go wrong when you have a balcony.

He's talking about the bump in the ship. E2 is actually cheaper than E1. The "bump" or sometimes called the "hump" is the part of the ship that bows out on the side. They typically have a slightly bigger balcony.

Thanks!

Paminohio,

I just booked our 1st cruise VOS cabin 7320 E2 on the "hump". It looks like the only difference between D1 and E1 would be size and location of cabin, I read somewhere on the boards to try for deck 7 or higher if you have oceanview or balcony.

Pam - D1 is larger than an E1 or E2. D1 is superior oveanview balcony and the E's are deluxe oceanview balconies.

Thanks!

Peggy

Hey everybody, we have room 9392 booked on the Voyager 10/30 sailing. Anyone else going?

I got an aft balcony due to everyone raving about it. Is a bump balcony better?

I have a lot of pictures of our E1 cabin on the Explorer - 8558 - at http://community.webshots.com/user/jean_lynd that should give you an idea of what your cabin will be like. I liked the location a lot because we were between the sets of steps and elevators and only within a couple of decks of everything that we wanted to do. Our friends had an aft cabin on Voyager when we were traveling with them and it seemed to take forever to walk back and forth from their cabin. I guess a big balcony is nice if you plan on entertaining in your cabin but for just the two of us our balcony was perfect. I hope this helps!
