Grandeur - is casino smokefree?

On the Grandeur in May, we were very disappointed to find the Schooner Bar so full of smoke that it was eyewatering just to walk through, thus we found other areas of the ship more comfortable. We found the Viking to be more desirable for a drink before dinner. Even though it is smoking, very little smokers frequented it. Sailing again on the Grandeur Sept. 4th if any change will let you know.

Thanks!

Sailing on her Dec 4th -- love hanging out in the Champagne Lounge and the Schooner. Viking Crown during the morning, nice cup of cappuccino and looking at to sea -- this will be the first cruise with a balcony! With it being only 4-night do want to enjoy that but don't want to have to hole up there all the time:D .

I see no reason there could not be a glass divider down the middle of the casino with equal gaming on each side but one be smoke free and the other smokers. I have been at slot machines and have to get up and leave because someone sits down next to me and lights one right after the other or leaves it burning in the ash tray next to me.

I tend to put them out when I see them unattended even for a couple seconds. Never had anyone say, hey thats my cigarette. Of course, it helps to be 6'3" 295lbs.

I'm sorry to hear there isn't a smoke free night on the Grandour. Maybe we all need to email RCL to tell them we want to breath on at least one or two nights in the casino. Equal rights for non smokers ya know

Was on the Emerald Princess in Jan. &they had 2 smoke free nights during the cruise;sure was nice to enjoy the Casino without choking:( RCL,s new smoking policy is a big step in the right direction ;need some smoke free nights in their Casinos:D
