Sorry if this has been asked before. On RCC we were able to pre-pay tips with final payment this worked out

or is it just added to you onboard account thanks

Princess adds the autotips to your account. If you are interested in pre-paying, you can purchase "Gift Cards" or OBC for the cruise through your TA or Princess. This will allow you to pay early, and have the credit waiting for you when you board.

Tips are automatically added to your shipboard account; $10.50 per person per day, $11.00 per person per day if in a mini or suite. You can pay extra directly to any member of the staff if you so desire. They will be able to keep any extra $$ you give as long as you do not remove the auto-tip.

I like the Princess method better than RCI. I like that I don't have to think about the tips--they're done. If I want to give steward, waiter, etc. extra cash in addition to the automatic one, I can do that.

By pre-pay, I assume the OP wants to pay Princess $10.50/person/day before the cruise. Yes, you can do this. Call 1-800-PRINCESS and they will handle it.
