HAL's casino policies?

Just got back from 20 days on the Noordam. Don't know about the chips, but you can use your room card on the slots. You can get from $10 to $100 at time put on your card, with no fee, charged to your account. The balance on the card can be moved from machine to machine. You can control your expenditures by putting cash in the machine, rather than charging to your account, and transferring any balance to the card. The system actually worked rather well, and there was no handling of coins to cash out - just take the card to the cashier when ready.

I think I figured out the best of both worlds.

I can send my DH (well, really, ME) casino chips from the online gifts form. Same as a "cash advanvce" without the 3% fee - how scary is that? Heck, we don't drink, and he quit smoking (I ain't so strong...) - gotta do something in between ports...
