What is the best DOD?

I'm sooo looking forward to sailing away with a DOD! What is your favorite?

I used to feel Miami Vice, but now I am 'addicted' to Malibu Rum Hurricanes!

I really like the "Ultimate Suntan"...at first this one was not my favorite...but somewhere along cruise number 4....I developed a real taste for it...and now its totally my favorite!

1 oz Vodka

1 1/2 oz Bailey's irish cream

1/2 oz Kahlua

Mixing instructions:

 

Pour first vodka, then Bailey's, then Kahlua into a cocktail glass over crushed ice. Stir. Caution: use only high quality vodka. Cheap vodka can cause the Bailey's to curdle. Test your brand of vodka by mixing 1 Tsp each of vodka and Bailey's first.

I discovered Ultimate Suntan in 2005 as well - yummy! Haven't seen it as a DOD since, but I get one at least a few times on the ship.

 

I compile a list of drinks I'd love to try onboard, and then forget them when I arrive, lol. Rum runners, strawberry daiquiri, margarita, mudslide, long islands... I make up my own DODs. :)

The first one I drink after getting on the ship is always my favorite. It's not so much what the drink is but what it represents.....

Ever since I discovered Blue Margaritas on Celebrity Galaxy .Every night they had a sampling of different small drinks with the same base ...all different martinis,margeritas,diquiris etc .I tried the margarite samplers 6 in all and really liked the blue one It is now my very favorite drink .I order it everytime I;m out and I get a lot of Questions and people order it to try it .

The colour is turquoise reminiscent of the sea and its lemony flavour is wonderfu. Also it is not too strong ..so that's nice too. Don't know if it is a DOD but it is YUMMY!!!

I find Kiss on the Lips sweeter than Ultimate Suntan. Can't remember what's in each though, sorry!

Goombay Smash day is my favorite. By lunchtime I usually figure out where the smash in goombay smash comes from. :eek:
