How soon can we board?

I am not sure about Azamara, we will be cruising with them in Feb, but on other lines we always board between 11.30am and noon. We love board early and know that we will be soon on our way. We always have lunch in the Buffet, settle into our cabin and explore the ship before sailaway.

It is a great feeling to know that finally we are about to begin our adventure.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi

Our departure from Barcelona a couple of weeks ago was at 5pm. I believe people began arriving around 11.30am but I'm not sure if they were able to board then. We arrived at 12.10pm, checked-in and boarded immediately (3 minutes all in). We were greeted by senior officers and welcomed with champagne and the offer to go to the buffet for lunch. Our rooms were not ready for an hour or so but staff offered to take our carry-ons and deposit them in our room while we had lunch. An announcement was made to say that rooms were ready about 1.30pm.

Hope you enjoy - we did!

Lynne;)
