Wait Listing on the Royal

Would love to hear from anyone who has ever been wait listed for their cruise. We are #15 on the wait list for the Royal Princess in July. Has anyone had experience in being wait listed on a smaller ship and were you able to get a cabin or should we look at other possibilities?

I have not been waitlisted however you are a long way out on your cruise and have a low number on the list. If I was in your situation I would be optimistic but being a little "gun shy" would also look at other sailings just to know my options.

Is the waitlist only for one category of Cabin? If so, number 15 may not clear.

 

If the waitlist covers a number of categories, you have a great chance as you are far from final payment time when more cabins usually become available.

I was waitlisted last year for an FF on the 15 day Diamond cruise to Hawaii. Cleared the waitlist and they gave us a BB.

 

You'll clear since it's so far in advance of the cruise.
