We are on a Med cruise on Voyager next week sailing RT from Barcelona -- anything we should know about the port or terminal?

You embark your ship at Quai (or Moll) Adossat. For more information, check out this website:

Once there, you will drop off your luggage at curbside and proceed inside to check in. It speeds things up if you have filled out your Sea Pass information online ahead of time. Happy sailing!

I love Barcelona. We stopped there on our Independence cruise. It was one hell of a walk from the terminal into town. Will you spend some time in the town before you sail? It's stunning.

Upon disembarkation, you do not go thru immigration / customs like you might be used to on a cruise that leaves from the US.

We cruised out of Barcelona last year on the Brilliance; here's a tip we learned before we went. There is a Duty Free shop (aka booze) AFTER you check in, so save some room in your carry on and enjoy the in-cabin refreshments!

I read about it here on CC and sho 'enough, it was true! You may want to ask if it is still the same situation.
