Rare arxcards Posted December 4, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Hi All Does Rhapsody have romantic tables for two in the dining room or are we locked into the 8 or 10 person tables? cheers Jeff I was asked if we wanted small or large when we booked - no idea what we requested or what we will get though. serena_17 Posted December 4, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 4, 2008 We just got off ROS on Tuesday and there were a few tables for two in the dining room. If you pop into the dining room when you get on board, they try to be very accommodating. Our head waiter was Anthony, he's very good at helping out with special requests. baycruising Posted December 14, 2008 #5 Share Posted December 14, 2008 We have just been on Grandeur - Rhapsody's sister ship and they did accommodate our request for a table for two - be warned though that these tables were definitely "fitted in" and ours was very close to a serving station and felt very crowded and "busy". On balance we would probably have been better sticking with a larger table - as it happened we tended to use windjammer more than the dining room as we felt the food was better. In what way was the food better in the windjammer, I have seen on these boards that the food is approximately the same in either of the two only that in the dining room you get served. regards Frank. Rare Kinkacruiser Posted December 15, 2008 #7 Share Posted December 15, 2008 Jeff, You can always ask the maitre'de for your own table if you're not happy in a large sitting, but as Geoff mentioned put in a request via the TA. Our last cruise was 100 pax short so there was plenty of room for shuffling. There definitely should be more tables for two. Anna
