Sometimes HAL combines two cruises and also offers them as a single cruise. In those cases the price is less than the two individual cruises purchased separately.

But otherwise, no. There usually is no cruise price benefit to b-2-b cruises.

No, but you can get the satisfaction of watching people gathered in lounges waiting for their numbers to be called, the satisfaction of watching them walking out to buses, the satisfaction of knowing they will be sleeping in their own beds tonight,

 

while you are still on the cruise!

Also, sometimes if you don't plan a B2B and you are on the ship and it isn't filled for the next week, they offer you some bargains to stay on.

 

 

We saw that happen a few times especially not long after 9-11.

 

Within the last year and a half or so, I seem to think we were on a ship when they offered some cabins for the next cruise at a very reasonable rate.

 

That works great for retired folks who drove to the port. :)
