Post Cruise Excursion Port Everglades ?

We are thinking of doing the Airboat excursion after our cruise on the Crown. Our flight out of FLL is 4:15, so I know we have the time to do it. My questions are, what time do you have to leave the ship, and what time does it arrive back to the airport? I've done a search and I'm getting conflicting times.

I did that excursion in March. I really enjoyed it as I have never seen the Everglades before except from the plane. I think I left the ship between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. and was dropped off at the FLL airport between 1:00 and 1:30. It was a great excursion and I will be doing another one again this February. It's a lot better than sitting around the crowded airport.

P.S. It was great to see the Eagles drub the Cowboys yesterday. Weren't the Cowboys supposed to win the Superbowl this year? I may get flamed for this, but I don't think any team will ever win the SB with T.O. on its roster. Good luck in the playoffs.

If you're booked on the excursion, your disembarkation time will be consistent with the time the excursion leaves. I did this tour off of the Zaandam several years ago. As my memory serves, the whole tour took around 3.5-4 hours. You should be fine with a 4:15 flight. Best guess is that you'll be off the ship and on the bus by 8:30, and done with the excursion and at the airport no later than 1:30.

Thanks to everyone for the info I was looking for. Trying to avoid waiting in lines at the airport. On our last cruise out of FLL, we arrived at the airport around 11:00 and waited in line for over 2 hours:eek:. Don't want a repeat of that.
