MMJK Posted December 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2008 Hi guys, Just wondering if the Sun Princess has any shops onboard ?? Cheers Mark
NSWP Posted December 30, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2008 Yes the Sun Princess does have shops on board, 3 from memory, one is jewelry/watches etc only, the other two stock booze, clothing, souveneirs, confectionery, sun tan lotion, sea sickness tabs etc. They are located near the the atrium, centre of ship, generally open on sea days 9am to 9pm and on port days after leaving ports. Payment is via your cruise card. If you are black card elite pax you get 10% discount. Also some days they get all the stuff out the front of the shops, inch of gold, watches, clothing etc at good prices, boy the crowds on those days.! Happy shopping on SP ! Topaz_M Posted December 31, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 31, 2008 And don't forget the souvenir sale late in the cruise. Perhaps last sea day? Most of the sale items are from past cruises / itineraries but some good bargains can be found. It was held in one of the dining rooms last May and I picked up a couple of very good value t-shirts as presents. Moira :) PS. The deal on alcohol held the first day or so was the best value offered. Look out for details in the Princess Patter.
Rare arxcards Posted December 31, 2008 #4 Share Posted December 31, 2008 PS. The deal on alcohol held the first day or so was the best value offered. Look out for details in the Princess Patter. When Vila is in the itinerary, we found the prices were cheapest until after they left Vila (their competition). Places like Fung Fuei in Vila are generally 10% cheaper than the ship, and they will sell in $AU too.

NSWP Posted December 31, 2008 #6 Share Posted December 31, 2008 Plenty of coat hangers in cabins, if you need more ask your cabin steward. Remember keep that suitcase light!
