Best beach?-Accra/Brighton/????

Everyone always seems to be searching for the perfect beach and that includes me. From what I have been reading it seems that Accra or Brighton would come closest to what I am looking for. My husband and I want soft sand, a calm ocean and a beautiful view without too much commercialism. (no jet skis for us!). Bathroom facilities, however, are a definite must! Would Accra or Brighton offer us the best chance of finding what we want? If I am missing another option I would appreciate hearing about it

Thanks for any advice.

Everyone always seems to be searching for the perfect beach and that includes me. ===> So join the club.

From what I have been reading

it seems that Accra or Brighton would come closest to what I am looking for. ===> neither is Bali-perfect, let's get that straight.

My husband and I want soft sand, a calm ocean and a beautiful view

without too much commercialism. (no jet skis for us!). ===> Good luck with the jetski factor! :D

Bathroom facilities, however, are a definite must!

Would Accra or Brighton offer us the best chance of finding what we want? ===> Accra has less jet-ski's, but a bit more surf

There are so many threads already in existence addressing these vexing questions, I suggest you plough thru a few of them.

This has been soo done already...although Brighton might be for you.

Go Malibu. (Jet skis are inescapable, almost, but they don't hang around for long)

On the otherhand, maybe NYC! or Bali?

Aplmac, I have used the search engine and have not been able to verify something I read. Someone mentioned that you can get on Malibu Beach, walk to the right and find some guides with catamarans to take us to swim with the turtles. We're interested in the Malibu Rum tour and beach but would also like to swim with the turtles. We enjoy your posts and appreciate any information you can give us. Cheers!!!

Sounds like "someone" needs a nap! :D :p :D

Poor aplmac; he lives in paradise but yet he's not happy. (not really, but I thought I'd pile on) :D

Does your wife know you're going to be my personal tour guide when I'm there later this year? Or, she can come too. I'm sure she's cuter than you! :p

Depends on how far you are prepared to travel, but Paynes Bay must be one the prettiest, get there by bus in about 20 minutes from Bridgtown, ask to be dropped off at The Blue Monkey and find the public access to the beach.
