Coffee Prices

I've been reading about this "syrup" coffee, but don't really know what that means? Is it pure coffee syrup, or coffee and chicory syrup (Camp Coffee?) Living in Spain I have become used to very strong coffee, especially first thing in the morning:D Is the price of a coffee card the same, regardless of the length of the cruise? Is the fresh brewed coffee strong? Sorry for all the questions :)

Syrupy coffee is that made from concentrate; no chicory. The fresh brewed coffee is not very strong, but you can add a shot to it. If so, that will cost you a punch, because with the shot the coffee now becomes a specialty drink. Yes, the coffee card costs the same whether you're on a 7 day cruise or a 70 day cruise, simply because it's good until the last punch is used and can be taken on many other cruises.

I think the syrup is a concentrate that they mix with hot water. Sort of an "instant" coffee only it's a liquid not a granule.

The coffee card is the same price regarless of the cruise length because it is limited to 15 special coffees. The soda card (actually a sticker placed on your cruise card) offers unlimited soda for the length of the cruise. When your cruise is over, so is the free soda. The coffee card can be taken on your next cruise as long as you have one punch remaining (There are 15 spots on the card and with each special coffee you get, they punch out one of the spaces).

The brewed coffee is not very strong; I would say a medium roast, but it is excellent compared to the buffet stuff.
