furkidsmom Posted January 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2009 I've heard all the icky reviews and am trying to keep an open mind! We're on the Cruise of the Irish Stars on Orchestra 2/7. We know we'll have a blast even if the food is awful and the staff couldn't care less. I was wondering how hot/cold it is on the ship. Most ships I've been on are freezing in the dining room, but the last 2 cruises on Costa were really warm in the dining room. I was wondering if this is something all european ships do. Any help would be appreciated since I don't want to freeze, but I would rather not pack extras if I don't have to.
AmoMondo Posted January 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2009 Not sure about the Orchestra but I can tell you I've found dining rooms on the Opera and Lirica a tad chilly, especially in the evening. On our TA from Ft laudedale to Dover last April, we all started bringing cardigans to wear to dinner and then ditching them for the rest of the evening

I was roasting in the dining room. I remember other ships being like freezers.
