sarahc78 Posted May 18, 2010 #26 Share Posted May 18, 2010 On the way to Bermuda, and the last day on the way back the seas were VERY ROUGH! I get motion sick very easily so I was taking dramamine the entire cruise just to be safe... I actually got very ill the last day and had to go take a nap that is how rough the seas were. Sea Hound Posted May 18, 2010 #27 Share Posted May 18, 2010 On our last cruise to Bermuda (6/7/2009) the seas were like glass both going and coming! It looked like we were on a lake -- not the high seas! Hoping the 6/6/2010 sailing will be the same!!;) Sea Hound:D

I'm used to rough seas on our small sailboat but the different movement from a MUCH bigger ship might be the end of me - or I may find I do perfectly well. We'll see. Barb Nahoumi Posted May 18, 2010 #29 Share Posted May 18, 2010 We'll be going on the Spirit, June 4. Our group has cabins on deck 4, which, according to my DH, should be less rocky. Since I am highly susceptable to motion sickness, I take Bonomine before the cruise leaves. It always works well for me. Our first cruise to Bermuda was in May, on the Majesty from Boston. Next time was July, Majesty from Boston. The May trip had 1 rough day on the way home. The following year, in July, the waters were smooth. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a smooth sailing on the Spirit. Barb
