Dunns River Falls ?

I understand that there are stairs that go up along side the falls. Can you get off the stairs and into the "pool" type areas? If so can you get off at all of the different photo points or only a few. I am just trying to determine if I would rather save the money of a guide and just walk up the stairs and enter the falls at different points. Has anyone here ever done this? TIA

There are three points you can enter/exit the falls. If you are physically fit and want to try the entire falls, do it with a guide-it's a great experience. You will not save that much money by entering on those 3 points. You pay the admission ($10.00 US) no matter whether you climb the falls, walk the stairs or do any combination. The tip for the guide is minimal-I think we tipped him $1.00 each....and they are worth every penny of the tip.
