Yes, there is definitely room for 3 in them. With the Majesty's cabins, what i noticed is the cabins compared to other ships have more of the square footage in the width of the room vs. the length. Kinda tricks the mind into making it feel bigger.

Im only talking of the superior rooms though (145 sq. ft.), the standard staterooms (108 sq. ft.) theres just no way around it, its feels small.

Happy Cruising!

We had a 145 sq ft cabin on Majesty and it was the smallest cabin we'd ever had. It was well arranged & therefore it was functional, though. There were only two of us. My husband kept bumping his head on the pullman (which we never used). It just protruded into the cabin, above where he sat to watch tv.

We had a large suitcase that would not fit under the bed, so it had to be out in the cabin, taking up lots of room. We are both tall, 6'3 and 5'8 and had a double bed. With the suitcase there, along with a deck chair DH had snagged so we'd both have a chair, there was no walking room whatsoever. Whoever slept against the wall could not just scoot down in the bed to get out for a midnight bathroom trip. You have to crawl over the other person. If the bunk were down, anyone who had to use the bathroom in the night would have a really hard time. (Maybe no one in your party needs midnight bathroom breaks. If so you'd be okay).

and remember that one bathroom has to serve 3 people. If two of them are adult females, that's trouble right there.

Cabin was fine for 2, though.

I think your choice would be "fine," but if you could find a Superior cabin that sleeps 4, they have even more room. It's a little known secret. So the cabin you'd be looking for would have 2 bunks that fold down instead of one.

If you're not a member of a deck and cabin plan website, let us know and we'll check it out for you. :)

P.S. Beat you to it, iheart!! (inside joke);)

Thanks for the thoughtful offer of looking up a cabin. I know one cabin number is 6051. Saw right off the bat that it is next to a restroom off the casino floor. May not be such a great cabin.

I did not know about the deck plan websites. I will think about joining on.

LOL iheart. i hear ya. ;)

Kelle~We enjoy staying on that deck the most. But the cabins you're talking about are for 3. If you want a little larger one for the 4 of you, try reserving a cabin port side 628 through 636 or 642. Or starboard side 643. We like cabin 645 which is set-up for 3. The higher the numbers, the closer to the Casino. Some people have complained of cigarette smoke around there, but we've never noticed that. We're not gamblers, but that area is close to the elevator/stairs. One level up and you're on the Promenade deck.

Phyllis, I'm not doubting what you say, but are you sure you weren't in a 108 sq. ft. cabin? The reason I ask is the 145 sq. ft. cabin we stayed in was very roomy. Even roomier than our Carnival Paradise cabin.

I've stayed in the smaller one, and it was ridiculously small. That's why I'm asking.

But maybe I'm wrong and you're used to staying in even larger cabins. Just curious.

Those small cabins are really tight. DH and I just struggled through a week in one. Couldn't even walk past each other! It was also disappointing to have only one chair in the cabin - no small sofa or any place to sit other than the floor.

DD and her family had one of the 145 sq. ft. cabins (Quad). Used one upper berth for the 3 yr. old and had a pack 'n play for the 9 mo. old at the foot of the parents' bed. It was cozy but it worked. The "larger" cabins also have more dresser storage, and an extra section of closet space. But still only ONE chair.

Fortunately, a week long cruise with Freestyle dining doesn't require a large wardrobe. It can work; just be prepared for tight spaces.

I was wondering that also. We had the beds pushed together with a nightstand/dresser on either side and were able to walk around the bed.

Well, one difference I didn't think of was we always keep our beds apart. Hubby snores and I love the buffer space! I bet that's the difference.
