LongTimeTvlr Posted January 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2009 My wife and I are big fans of adventure cruises. We are trying to experience what each of the major lines has to offer. So far, we have tried Regent (Mediterranean), NCL (Alaska), Celebrity (Baltic and Spain), HAL (Caribbean and St. Lawrence), and Cunard (QM2 -Caribbean). Next month we are taking the Princess Star to Antartica. The next line we would like to try is RCCL. What would you recommend as the best choice for an adventure (meaning visiting exciting places) cruise on RCCL? We prefer 10 - 16 night cruises. Don't want to go around the world just yet. Would it be a particular ship or itinerary or combination of both?
Kokomo91165 Posted January 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2009 Look at some of the repositioning cruises on RCCL. For example, the Jewel of the Seas in October. It is 10 days. Others include the Radiance and Serenade of the Seas 10-12 Night Repositioning cruises to Alaska. Then there is the Panama Canal from Miami/Ft. Lauderdale to San Diego, usually 14-16 nights.
