Convience Store at Port Ft. Lauderdale

Can anyone tell us whether there is a convience or liquor store located near the pier location for Crown Princess?

There are a couple of nice stores within walking distance from the 17th Street entrance to Port Everglades. If you are thinking of walking from the pier location (which varies depending on how many Princess ships are in port that day - could be #2 which is the furthest north near 17th Street or the southern pier either 18 or 25 which a very long walk) I would say that you need to take a cab.

Regardless, there are two wine and spirits stores off of 17th Street. Crowne Wine and Spirits and Total Wine, both on Cordova. I would recommend that you go online and find a map of the port area and then Google wine and liquor in Ft. Lauderdale to get a perspective of where they are in relationship to the Port. If you are not sure where the Crown will be berthed on the day of embarkation, you can visit the Harbormaster's web site for Port Everglades a couple of days before you leave and it will list the pier location for all the ships in port over the next week.

Here's explicit information. There's a Walgreens, the closest store to the 17th St. port entrance where you can pick up sodas, snacks, etc. The exact address is: 1680 SE 17th St., Ft. Lauderdale

The address of Total Wine and More is: 1906 Cordova Rd.

Now you do a Mapquest search, which I did for you. The distance is approx. a little over 1/2 mile.

There is also a Publix supermarket on the same route; near the wine store.

The Crown, unless there is another big Princess ship in port the same day, will definitely be berthed at pier #2.
