Taking wine onboard

I know the regulations are that you may take two bottles of wine per stateroom but can anyone tell me if "wine" includes fortified wine such as sherry, please?

It doesnt matter as long as you consume it in your cabin..

Just came back from Azamara Quest.

The rule is 2 bottles of wine per stateroom.

You can take 2 bottles in your checked bagages and 2 bottles in your hand luggages.
