Golden E-110

Cruising P&J

Recommended Posts

We were just upgraded on the Golden Princess, from an Obstructed View to E-110, which is an Ocean view. It appears our cabin window looks out over the Promenade Upper Deck. Has anyone had this room, or one near it ?Do you know if someone on the Promenade deck can see into your cabin? Thanks for any information.:)

The cabins that face onto the Promenade deck all have windows that are mirrored so that another can't see in UNLESS it is at night and you have lights on in the cabin. In that case, best to close the drapes unless you want to put on a show!!!:D

If it's like the Grand and Crown, I believe they block off that portion of the Promenade Deck at night, so there won't be anybody out walking past your windows after sunset. The mirror coating is pretty effective on a sunny day, but be mindful that early morning/late afternoon and in cloudy conditions, if you have the light on inside, people can probably see in. Congrats on the upgrade to a view!

My experience on the Golden is not a lot of people bother walking up the stairs so between that, the mirrored glass and sheers...you will have a good amount of privacy plus a better view that you bargained for...good on you.:)

You would be surprised at how many people still go out the forward Emerald deck doors at night. :D

Great stargazing!!!
